Organized by the Group Artisan winemakers San Rafael, it is carrying out a new edition of the annual contest aimed at determining the best “homemade” wines of San Rafael and General Alvear, called “Envinarte”. The event brought together a large number of wine makers of this type and, through competition, we seek to work on product diffusion, recognition and valuation of products through continuous improvement in quality. Envinarte consists of two stages, the first technical evaluation of the wines of the 2009 harvest and the second is the meeting of developers to share the wines of the vintage. In this context, the wines are being evaluated in the experimental station INTA Fall Branch by a group of experts and local winemakers, who will analyze sensory wines to qualify. They also prepare a report describing each wine and also the successes, showing errors to find ways to improve quality. Participating producers enrolled in the INV (National Wine Institute) and processors of homemade wine with two bottles per variety. The results will be announced on November 28.
