The Valle Hermoso is a little out of town, but worth taking a little path to meet him, because it is a place of breathtaking beauty. From City of San Rafael is reached through National Route No. 144, then No. 40, and the last installment is paid through the Provincial Route No. 222.
It is very near the ski resort Las Lenas, accessed from there through a gravel road. You can camp in the valley, but it should be done in summer to accompany climatic conditions. The terrain is a meadow with herbs and padded grass and a lagoon that enhances the beauty of the place. You can make mountain biking, trekking, climbing and horseback riding.
For night activities, observation of constellations is a very colorful show, if you have a clear night. And during the day, you can hike to natural hot spring that own the place. It is reached along the waters of Dapple River, which flows through the valley, and Thermae is a pozón two meters in diameter that resembles a natural jacuzzi. The waters are suitable for use, but in moderation, as excess heat has a negative effect on the body.
Another pleasant walk is what is done to Laguna Larga. There you can do bird watching. Very near the lagoon there tehuelches recorded on a large stone. It is petroglyphs from the ancient inhabitants of the Mendoza land, marking the entrance to several important sites in the valley.
