HORSE RIDES IN SAN RAFAEL

Horse riding is a great alternative in order to enjoy the beautiful natural sceneries in San Rafael and it is ideal to do so in guided rides with the specialized local “baqueanos” and tame “criollo” horses.

Beginners are welcome for short rides after receiving a few tips from guides but, if the excursion is a long and/or hard one it is better to be somewhat experienced. Make sure the guides have the appropriate saddles depending on whether rides will take place in the flatlands or in the mountains.

Rides are not particularly difficult and all sexes, ages and training conditions are welcome. The crucial thing is to wish to enjoy the great Argentine landscape in a different way.

Some important recommendations are:

• Suitable clothing. Loose trousers, discard jeans and tight clothes if possible.
• Try your saddle before the ride.
