Bodega Ricardo Jurado
The winery covers a surface area of 350 square meters and gives
priority to two fundamental concepts: the elaboration of high
quality wines and the panoramic views of the surroundings. The
elaboration sector has a capacity for 80,000 liters in concrete
vessel and stainless steel vessels, a 150 square meter
underground cellar housing 350 oak casks and allows for the
storing of 70,000 bottles at a temperature of 16 to 18 degrees
centigrade.
There is also a lab, a bottling sector with modern manual
pneumatic machinery, a tasting room facing the vineyards, small
lakes and a golf course, all contributing to the visitor’s
special experience whilst sampling the wines.
Only a small percentage of total productive capacity is used,
selecting the best estate produced grapes and destining them to
limited, numbered lots. Red wines go through oak casks, mainly
French made, for between 6 and 18 months, and then rest in
bottles whatever time is necessary for completion of the desired
product.
The main commercial goal is the export market, selling to
visitors, a few restaurants and wine shops in Argentina.
